I need this part of the steering column for my 70 notch. Its basically the surround over the barrel but I need the one with two slots. The pic is from the bottom of it looking up. Please ignore the dodgy bracket ive rigged up to hold it there at the moment

even since my first vw (MK1 golf) ive always wanted to drive a MKII GTI. Im so jealous!

awesome Ben, sounds good to me. While im at it i was just wondering if you have any of those "safety clips" for the steering column? They look like aluminium tabe with a single hole in the middle. They are meant to hold the column to the underside of the dash. I havent got the book infront...

basically looking for a momo or mountney steering wheel boss that will fit a 1970 type 3. Pretty sure its all generic sizing anyway. Anyone got one laying around?
