I heard many years ago the bonnets were "matched" to the car as they are all not quite identical (both bonnets and shells)? If this is the case, would repairing the current one be the go?

As the title says I am after one to get the ol' og one up and running. D Train from DSK got me the triangle bracket so now it is just this bit to go. This bolts on to the filter tube and has a "hook" that seats in the bead of the fan shroud. Thought I'd try local before going os. Cheers
