WANTED auto squareback or T3

hi all,

looking for a good automatic squareback for the wife or T3 with middle seat, 3 to 4k budget any year but earlier the better,

what was the earliest year for auto transmissions in type 3's?

i only know of one type 3 auto that might be for sale on here atm and its bens notch, not super early

got a friend who has a weiss square back. They are selling with reg and RWC. They have owned it for like 20 years I think.

thanks guys, that notch is sweet Ben and i'd love a fasty but we need room for a baby + pram and the wifes work gear (she's a costume designer and always has big bags of clothes and sewing machines etc) so it's got to be a square and our preference is an automatic. that safari beige one auto?
