Check the Gerson BD samba that got imported after the rules came in. Bigger motor, lowered and alloys. No problem.

Elton said that they are not really looking for cars that have been lowered on stock running gear, or custom wheels or modified original motors...

Its more the kit-form cars, luft-ride, extreme mods etc. there knocking back or the cars that arrive without pre-shipping approval.

i think its the pre-shipping approval that makes all the difference at the moment...

No shortage of shops on the west coast that would change the wheels out on a ride and raise it up.
Shit id fly over and do it myself, put some long shocks to prop the suspension up where it once was and take some photos.

I would not bring in a car that I hadnt been to see myself.

$1000 return melburg to LA... small price to pay to know what you are getting... if you know what to look for.

Some of those shiny west coast cars are farkin junk underneath!!!

Its in this months Just Cars magazine. So if you go on their website, search for volkswagens you'll find it.
