Cartune taper tips are a great cheap way of improving the sound of the engine, if you can find some, and look very hot rod too.
Will try and find a pic of the ones on my Ghia.

They're just tips which replace the standard straight ones, but they flare out about 2 inches from the end and make a real difference.

Ive got copper pipes hangin out the back of my 36hp in the oval sounds great and apparently is a toxic mix with exhaust gas wich ads to its charm ,must have been a mod back in the day old blokes comment on them all the time
