Dunno. I'll check with Jono in the morning. He's the seat guru. What's significant about 54's? Have a 53 coming which is unique in some way I'm told. Nice avatar btw.

well, pre august 55 cars have flat (level) seat runners. Later ones angle down towards the back of the car, so if you put later seat bases onto early runners, the seats will be tilted forward. I plan to run bomber style seats in my oval, but need some early bases to mount them on. Anyway, hope that made sense. I like the avatar too!

Brad - looking at your stuff and work makes me work harder every day. Gotta get me some of your action. Looks unreal ... all of it.
Also that Fog lamp you got. Can you ping me another pic. I think it is the same as the ONE I have and I wouldn't mind a partner for it.
Cheers
Dan

Thanks Dan. If you're referring to the fog in the display case in the pics in this thread, it's an Auto Lamp MFG Co. Chicago 4" lense, 5 1/2" total diameter. That the one? Have taken a pic and will put it up later.
Ankor Wax

Have had several requests for Ankor Wax which is a long-term rust proofing treatment you can apply to your ratted paint/surface rust to lock in the goodness. It goes straight on with no prep necessary and chemically bonds to metal surfaces to halt the rusting process. It provides long term rust proofing and can be used on the car, under the car, in chassis rails, doors or anywhere there's rust or the potential for rust. It isn't harmful to painted surfaces.
You can apply by brush or low pressure spray and it can be easily removed if you decide one day you want to go the new paint job
Have it in stock if you want to give it a try.

Some of the stuff that's been goin on.
Finally finished the Valiant Coupe that the guys around the corner from us turned into a Convertible. They did a great job. Car looks superb.
Did another bay middle seat for a splitty.
Had Matt's Bay window in for a bit of a tidy up in the rear "living area". The car came to us after Matt's bro in law had had a go at fitting a DVD and downlights. The fit-out and paint had been done, so our job was to fit a new headlining in the cab, new lining through to the back door, make and fit a rocknroll bed, cover in the Cadbury's purple and schwarz man-made leather, same for door cards, and a new lining in the top of the pop-top. Turns out we had to get our sparks man to rewire and refit the DVD, speakers and downlights before we could start, but in the end he even had the blau neon on the DVD working as an interior light when the doors open. Nice touch.
To cover the inside of the pop-top, we actually built a suspended ceiling.

Bought a 56 Oval which we're doing for the Jamboree. Ankor Waxed it to within an inch of it's life.
Fran's Notch is time warp material, and Daniel's car. What can you say about matt metalfake? Ya gotta love it.
Found this lovely 67 last of the 6 volters. Will be finding a new home soon.
