OK cool yeah I'll need a column to fit a 54 so a 55 or 56 will fit.
I can order a loom thats cool.

I have some looms, not sure what years.
Maybe talk to Nick he has a 57 loom :shock:
Mine are all packed up.
I can get you hooked up with a new loom but they are not cheap.

I have a spare 54 column. Didnt really wanna part with it, but if its for something special and you really need it, we can work out something. :wink:

Its all cool mate, its only hanging in my shed, if you want it consider it yours. Dunno why I wanna keep it, prob just cause its 54, but I know how hard it is to find early bits, so I'd like to see it go to a good use.

I've got my 56 loom you can have it, but it's chopped where it enters the engine bay you could rejoin it etc. its there if you want it.

OK still looking for a pair of early headlights also need a rear decklid lock assembly any difference between split and Oval other than the handle?
Also need a Bonnet catch male bit that bolts underneath the bonnet handle, not the bit on the apron.
Lastly a split front bumper have one coming so can swap back i need be just trying to cover my butt if miine doesn't arrive in time

hi

have got a lock for under the bonnet

and a steering column complete with wheel(56 and on)
the 54 and earlier wheel has a different spline setup
however they are interchangeable
54 wheel will fit on 56 steering column

also got early headlights
with or without vw symbol in the top
hella or bosch
but have to check if your interested

I was trying to find out if the split handle I have will work on the oval catch mechanism :lol: all good mate

OK Still need eary straight shiter and roller pedal assembly
