All the best for everyone who is or may be affected,

We have still been unable to contact my family up nord due to phone lines being cut and low mobile coverage. Its all a bit stressful at the moment.

Due to be there Wednesday week hope its still possible.

Just watching news and predictions, blowing me away. My old house in Albion behind the pub will be high and dry but so many areas I know and used to love are in Barney Rubble.
The Breaky Creek and Storey Bridge pubs are going to be underwater, and here is a sobering thought. We built the new McCarthur Chambers shopping centre with three cranes, all on about 40m of tower height below street level. When I started working on that job, between the Queen St Mall and the GPO, it was a 7 story below street level hole. It took us about 6 months to build 7 levels of carparks and plant rooms before we even got to street level.
That will all be underwater at 3.00pm this afternoon when the high tide meets with what is coming out of Wivenhoe

Good luck northerners! You are in for some crappola times ahead. Our thoughts are with ya. Stay safe!

Looks like where I am living at the moment will go under wasser.
Luckily the house was built with the 74 floods in mind so the whole bottom floor can take a flood with minimal damage.
Cars are out safe and sound, HQ is pretty well sorted but may need to move a few things up higher at home.

Can definitely deal with a bit of wasser considering people have been loosing their lives and loved ones.

Fuckin' wasser, who needs it

It is so hard to fathom what is happening, to comes to grip that it is happening in our country and is about to hit one of our major capital cities.

It reminds me of when the twin towers came down, just sitting there watching the images on tv unable to drag yourself away and feeling so utterly helpless.

I have friend in Westlake, a Brisbane suburb, whose house will be underwater tonight.

Hope everyone on here stays safe and can start over.....
