How did the fibreglass luft scoop survive?
I'm scared my fibreglass addiction is becoming a real problem

Took the Beetle for school pickup at Sunshine Coast Grammar and found a red 181 RHD with BRM's parked next to me when I came back to the car.
Spoke to the owner and it was an ex Nigerian Army vehicle that he picked up in Indonesia.

At my local shops i keep seeing a minter bone stock oval with a little old nanna at the wheel. I didn't have a chance to get a photo but she is always about in it so next time.
I'm tempted to offer to be her new grandson , she can't have many more years of driving the old duck. Will try for a photo.

pretty sure she has had it since new…. got it resprayed a few years ago…. can't remember the story on the interior whether its OG or been done… but it now supports a 1600 and she drives it daily
her son wants it when she's done….
i have run into her a few times…. and her son…. both weren't very polite when i asked about selling it but more then happy to tell you a story or two of the times they have had in it

Girlfriend spotted this today and snapped a photo.
I told her the photo wasn't blurry enough...

Yeah, I thought so too. The plates don't match up, but he said he'd be keeping the plates anyway.
