Theres only one episode that I've seen, yet theres no real specs on it, apart from it's fitted with a quad cam engine.
Think the bloke in the show, Wayne Carini bought it for $120k, coz it didnt sell at auction.

Was it running lee? Or just the clip discussing the reserve price of 100k?
The concept is growing on me. 36hp powered bathtub perhaps?

I knew it existed!!!

It's an aircooled club 7 racer. The driveline is Porsche 924 transaxle and torque tube with a kombi bell housing at the business end.
I has this same thought a few weeks ago. But I remember how much of a cu*t our old 924 was to live with and that turned me off!
On a separate note our old soarer sold on the weekend and in its place an mx5 track hack!
It broke in a big way so the caddy pulled it home
For $2k it was a steal. Spent the weekend rebuilding the top end of the motor, now it runs like a top. This should be a fun project until I pickup the manx I scored..

We fucked off the chrome right away!! And added some leightweight 6067 wheel nuts to match the turbo twist copies.
The shitty mazda engine came up alright after it stopped spewing oil and coolant from every oraface.

That looks like a neat car Lee.
I bought one with a friend years ago. Not a bad car. We sold it for $900, wish I kept it and did a vr6 conversion.
Would be ideal price to rob the transaxle and rear suspension... Hmm
