Fon z, these are the only other two photos of the Ghia I have, from the day Dad bought it.

I will have to get some more next time I'm in melburg.

From your comments, its a rare car in that colour combo?

It's my Dad's. He got it from a lady in Victoria recently.
It was her fathers from new (1960) 51,000 miles on the clock, original running gear 36hp & split case. Hasn't run since 1989, but the lady kept the rego paid up. Got a tip off about it and went for a look.
He's tidied it up and repaired quite a bit of rust in it. Going to be his club car while he finishes his Oval, then it will be stripped down and rebuilt.
Bit of a time capsule.
Did that come from the Castlemaine area by any chance?

Nah, was from Shepp, then via Bugboy, via couple of other hands, into you Daniels hands. John, this was the young bloke who was all over my car at the Strawberry festival

Was one of my ovals that I let go a few years ago. I have owned if for many years. It was missing the flash trim when I got it. I later found some trim to suit up in Qld. I have been helping the owner with some small parts to put it back together and are glad to see it back on the road.

Looks ace ! job well done.

More of an after show pic..

Performed a Luft award presentation at Johns this afternoon..
Had him pose for the customary "f@#k I'm so excited I'm going to show you cu*ts both my thumbs " pic....
Apologies for the lack of crowd applause...
