Those tyres are to fat and square for that much camber Lee. Try some continental 165/80 15s next time. NIce round and soft side wall keeps the tread nicely on the road, and looking fat. Great in the wet. My old car ran them, and I think LJ used to run em too.

Ha, the breakdance story was one of those that was supposed to stay on tour

It certainly must have been an old skool song to bust out the backspins
Nice pics, the top group shot makes Granny look like a troop carrier.... Nice line up of cars hey!
Glad your car is home, it's a beautiful looking ride. Hopefully the greasy handprints were washed off yesterday arvy, it bucketed down about 15 mins after I left the group.....

Don't think my nerves could take any more - especially in the wet! I'll be taking Josh's advice and going for conti's..
Good to meet you LJ - great oval you've got yourself there...

There's a bit of talk on AVD about what could be done differently at the Nats. Nick (Boomer) and Darren (Nord) have made two really good points re running something similar to Bug-Jam at WSID. Personally I think it would be a great idea having the drags and show both a WSID, with camping in the back parking lot grassed area (if you could get permission). The problem though would be funding of hiring out WSID, and running the show in the backlot. Certainly something to dream amount. Where is that VW millionaire golden tit who is willing to put up the funds every year and help to put something on like that? Club VW are a little reluctant, so I wonder whether it's all pipe dreams?

I think at the end of the day if you want to see a big show, book your airfares and get yourself over to Europe. theres no money in it here, let alone the distances. Although with some organisation the wsid day could be paid for by entry and admission charges alone.
The biggest issue in oz is getting everone from around the country in one spot at the one time, the sydney nats is only sydneysiders really - (with a few vw ultras from mexico

)
