Sydney wreckers?

Stupid question, but what wreckers do people go to these days in Sydney?

I just rang Beetle Wreckers in Brookvale, who I used to get parts from all the time, and they said they only do post-2000 cars now & haven't had an old beetle in for 83 months & counting.

Vintage Vee-Dub in Campsie didn't have what I need.

Where else do people go? I thought it'd be more useful just to ask here than to keep searching all the crap that shows up when you google...

Vent wing pivot clamp x 2.

I can find them in the US for $6 apiece but it seems silly to go through international ordering & postage when every single beetle had one in each door so there should be heaps around...

But other than that, it's just handy to be able to pick things up from wreckers from time to time, obviously.

They'd luft my protest too, if only I was in Clover Moore's electorate:

"OUTRAGE! Clover wastes money on bicycle pumps, when honest ratepayers can't even store a dozen rusting cars in front of all the neighbours' houses!"
