WTB Wide 5 type 3 drums... 9/3/13

On the lookout for 2 of the short side axles from an IRS semi-auto beetle or Type 3 ..See notes on last post ..

Also after a T3 Transporter starter motor..

Any leads appreciated.

f@#k just threw out the rest of an auto squareback, pretty sure the pass side axle is the short one... :oops: was stillin the car too :roll:

Still on the hunt for 2x type 3 ( possible type 1 semi-auto) auto short IRS axles..

They measure 389.5mm in length and part # for type 3 version is 311 501211B..

Any leads appreciated.. :wink:

Very happy you know more than I do Stu..
Looks like Ill take the backing plates too..
As I said, the drum fitted perfectly on the L Bug 4 stud hubs..
Got the measuring tape out to find the shoes were about 15 mm shy of contacting the type 3 drums...
:oops:

Let me know where/ when to drop the $ to you..
