Early Square wanted in Melburg

Hey People
Thought I would put a shout out on a few forums rather than navigating the strange and often dodgy world of car sales/eBay/gumtree.

What I am ideally looking for is a recoverable original paint early Type 3 squareback. Not 4 wheels supporting a bucket of rust but something an average welder and mechanic can sort.

Budget is limited - probably about $5k max and unless I can drive it home has to be in Victoria.

Any help much much appreciated

Cheers Paul

Till I get closer sounds like engine, screen, lights, interior (at least rear seat), not sure what else.

James reckons it,s pretty solid - love the colour and the 'finish' !!!

Cool can help with probably all that, one way or another, not necessary right colour rear seat or date stamped parts but help none the less... 8)

Thanks to Rossko

I will be picking up my new ride next weekend. Reckon I should have it on the road for the Vic Day of , all things being equal.
Can,t wait to get started on it

Paint it shiny, put some chrome wheels on it and cut a hole in the roof for an aftermarket sunroof, maybe even convert it LPG .

Or even better keep it OG , slam it and drive it.

Thanks Guys - looking forward to it.

I was going to hire a trailer to pick it up but I hate doing that - anyone know of someone decent who could transport it for me ?

No probs Matty

After lotsa trolling I found a pic (on this forum) of what I think I want it to look like. Maybe a big wing on the roof too.

Porsche 2 liters are the only wheel for a 4 bolt T3.
