WTB - Porsche 356A T1 RHD pitman arm

Post by PASHN8 »

Hi guys,

Long short, but does anyone know someone who might have one? Has to be specifically the OG forged pitman arm out if a T1 356A factory RHD car if possible.

Beer for the locator :)

Dino.

Thanks JnR, will get in touch with him.

Raf, Marc is a good mate of mine, and I believe they cut and shut LHD ones when they do RHD conversions which isn't ideal.

One of the US boys said that the early 356 T1's used a VW steering box before they went to the ZFA box in '58 I believe so a VW pitman arm might work, just might have to ream the tie rod holes larger.

Cool Dino. If you get stuck, try Rob Foers, he does LHD to RHD conversions often

There's a reason they cut and shut them. Make a plug and take it to a foundry.
