Passair Parts ....

1. Looking for wide 5 sprintstar centres to make some new rear rims for Passair ...

Will consider other weird and wonderful wide 5's as along as they are steel..

Or alloy with fucked rim lips... ( oooh ..That sounds dirty)

May be able to machine alloy rim off and bolt into steel rim...Dragway style.

2. Side trim in chrome , stainless or aluminium.

3. fat chick Idler arm for McPherson Slut front..

4. Flip up or down, headlight mechanisms..

5. Thoughts offered on how to get rear wheel to drop far enough down to get it out from under lip of guard..
Currently cant remove wheel without first removing body...

Thinking of cutting off lower springplate stop to let it swing down after removing lower shock bolt and outer CV joint.. The springplate has pretension because the suspension is only "slightly " lowered. Hoping this will give the needed 6" or there-abouts of travel..............

Im guessing you've had no replies cos nobody's done what you wanna do.....

The theory seems right, but I dunno if you'd get 6" of droop out of it.... you could always hinge the body from the front like the opposite of what they do with dragsters??

Nate...
Get out of my head...
That's for another project in the wings...

Looking at hinging quarters but that makes other dramas with concealing joins.. Still an option though..
What do you mean.." No ones done this...Surely you jest..."

Will look at unbolt ing IRS arms tomorrow ..
Shed due for a major clean...

Thanks Ben..
Narrow profile 12-15mm brushed or bright metal..
Any type will do
May need to pay you a visit...

You aren't really cu*ts ..
But good to see the word hasn't lost its lure...

Maybe try removing rear torsion bars and replace with rose joints on spring plates you can buy the conversion kits on cip. Then run coil over shocks. Simply un bolt shock when you want to drop the wheels. Or dzus the quarters on, sprint car style.

Have coil overs already, so a possibility...
Like the rose joint idea..

Aren't Dzus shit..?
Thought you passed on them when building the Belson.?

Thanks Col,
As little as possible but would need to check if 14" centres will work with 15" hoops..
Want to pm a number..?

I was thinking a couple of small bolts hidden under the tailgate and rear door would be enough to hold the quarters in place. Should be a walk in the park for a man of your capabilities.
