I am looking for an old sports wheel to put on my Ghia.
It doesnt have to be in flash condition, thinking old SAS or similar :?:
My big fat guts wont let me get in and out without a struggle so I figue its easier to change the wheel than give up beer
Anyone help :?:

Cool but im not sure what it is worth

i pulled it out of the shed and it cleanned up great. has minor cracks on top that dont go all the way through the leather and the horn button rubber is brittle.

Its has a formuling hub with 21mm spline.

I am not up to speed with a heap of tech stuff, what did you have it on, and does anyone know if it will fit a 66 LHD ghia :?:

its actually a 20mm spline as it was on a early type 3 at some time in the past

so it will fit

and it will need a new button as my SON decided to poke a hole in it

i will try fixing it with some schwarz sicaflex

if you are still looking i have a similar but momo steering wheel, also schwarz leather, it has an adapter to suit early beetles, it was on my 58 beetle. it will be about 30cm in diameter, maybe less, go-cart size. i can take few pics if you are still interested

Well the wheel turned up and I am real happy with it, great condition. A mate of mine had a boss kit for me but Murphy`s law kicked in and it dont fit
Any one out there got a boss they dont need to fit a 66 ghia to a SAAS 6 bolt wheel :?:
