Type 3 Squareback wanted (maybe)

Hey All

I am thinking about a Type 3 square as a daily driver. I am currently using my Dual Cab but it is making me nervous with the idiots on the road I can see a rear ender wrecking the drop gates or worse and that would end in tears. Anyway to the point:

Preferably looking for an early model but late is ok (has to be a square). The clincher is I want it on the road and usable as a daily for $2k or less. Paintwork, dents etc not a problem nor is the interior. Happy to work on it but i would have to be able to drive it home. So nothing that can't be road worthied after a couple of weekends work.

And it needs to be within reasonable distance of Melburg

Tell me if I'm dreaming or if you can help

Cheers Paul

Yeah I know had a bit of a squiz at that but I need a wagon so i can throw the pushi in the back. That car is pretty cool - that's what got me thinking.

Saw a 69 square with grass growing around it today. Knocked on the door but the bloke is keeping it sadly as I reckon it will still be there and starting to rot in another 12 months.

Ok so maybe $2k is a bit hopeful but who knows

Hey Paul,

I have a 73square i tried to sell a while back to no avail... since then have been pinching a few bits from it to finish another notch, car is still 95% complete and wouldn't take too much to get back on the road I reckon...

yours very cheap if ya want it, with all the parts I can give you to make it complete again, obviously it comes down to a time thing but I'm sure i could help get it back to a going thing for you if need be....

come have a look/give me a call if ya wanna know more, cheers Ben

ps: here is the link to the original ad, http://melburgluft.com/viewtopic.php?t=210

the empi 8's, visor hoodlining and some indicators/tail lights are off the car.

I should have enough tail lights and indicators to put back on, but may need lenses, will need a hoodlining and think I have another visor

Empi's - Roof rack - Popouts etc all available....
