WTB: 60'sish beetle

i need a beetle for a project.
rwc/reg not required.
something early-mid 60's
body can be fubar, but would prefer a reasonable pan
even something that drives would be great.
looking for something around the $500 mark...which is a hard ask i know.
am even willing to do a bit of interstate travelling, but preferably located in vic.
it's for a good cause - it'll make the purusts cry!

I have a 59 beetle, only missing a few little bits, 36hp motor etc, semaphore model. was runnign before carb was taken off.
has a little rust but not much and easy to repair.
If your interested come for a look.

Yep.... Needs a heater channel, tail lights and semaphores.... All else is good.... Even has the correct engine....
