Yeah mate.It was $5500 and in real good nick.Paint had been done 5 or 6 years ago.All the chrome looked good,as was the interior. Was still 6 volt with standard motor.Well looked after. She wants a kombi for surfing etc.
Sorry,I dont have the number.Maybe someone took a closer pic on AVD and could be on there. They usually whack pics up after an SA show
Cheers,lee

i would like to know that too ... i bought a 59 recently ... i thought that it was "battleship grey' ... but was told that it was 'jupiter grey' - i looked up some color charts, but couldn't find either of those two colors in the charts ... was "anthracite' an original vw color? ... would like to know the color of that oval - i like it :D

AT - Anthracite was a factory colour on beetles from 58-64 from what I can work out ...

here is another example, apparently the interior is all original paint ....

The b lack fasty was a BARGAIN! Mostly original (Mine is next to it and overheard it was the worst at the show.I'm so proud :) )
He bought it for bugger all coupla years ago.Was pretty straight with a real good interior.Never for sale apparently.
Shame,I'd love that at my place.I know Jase would too.

Has anybody found a number for the Notch?
I have a mate who'd be very interested in it.
