jvm they are mako's.(not 100% on the spelling). 60's period parts. rather rare and now going for STUPID $. they came with steel and alloy hubs. from what i have read the steel ones are more common world wide but the alloy ones are more common in australia.
good luck on the pad hunt, i hope some turn up soon.

Stu'y,
The spelling is 'Maico' - may help your search.
These brakes were imported into Oz from der fatherland (produced by Maico-Fahrfeugfabrik) in the mid-60's by LWB Trading in NSW.
Stumbled across an old Wheels magazine (May 1966) with an install/test - PM me if you want a PDF copy.
Also, more info here -

If you still had the pad carrier/plate a brake joint may be able to bond up new pad material.
Good luck with the search.

thanks for the replies and info guys
i think i'll try getting some new pad bases CNC cut
then i'll just have to find a brake joint interested in bonding them
seems like they're worth the effort though ah!
thanks again
is anyone else need some if i can get them made ?
thanks for marks phone number ; a very knowledgable dude
