I just made it home but had to leave the car on the mountain road as this came down seconds before we got here.

kicked off the wharf about 1 ish ,no work for the next few days

No floods where they are at the moment.
They're well away from the Brisbane river, but if rain doesn't let up they may be in the shit :wink:

yeah where we are is ok atm... lots of rain and big tides is all we have to worry about... but everything raised up and prepared for the worst :wink:

I'm currently staying with my brother on Mt Tamborine just down from Brissie. Both roads going uP the mountain are cut off from where the river crosses. We went up for dinner last night from where we are staying at Broadbeach and the river was high but when we came down around 11pm we couldn't get through. It is still well over 2m over the bridge and not sure when we can cross. We are due to fly home on Friday with luck!
