WTD kombi -(Melburg) Got one - thanks to all

Post by dock »

Having spent nearly two years without a VW - it is time. Funny how sad an empty shed can feel.

I am not 100% sure what I am looking for but I think it goes like this (at a minimum) and I am patient.

Thanks to all everyone who has replied I have had a better think and probably this is my shopping list in order of preference:

Lowlight microbus
Lowlight camper
Late Bay camper

limited rust (but some ok)
original paint (condition not an issue)
original fit out
serviceable drive train - ie I want to drive it without having to rebuild the engine
RWC

At this point I am limiting the search to Victoria but obviously if anything special turns up there is nothing wrong with a roadtrip

Got up to $10k if needed. Any leads would be appreciated. (there's a case of Carlton's finest in it if I buy it )

Please PM me

Cheers Paul

There is a late ('78) 2L driveable camper here that is for sale in whatever paint condition you need it to be, still WA registered and worth discussing if you are interested. It has had lots of repairs done!
