To cover your arse and the RWC tester; have the buyer sign a statement to that effect...
Avoids any trouble later..

Give the car to the seller, as roadworthied,

take a major deposit for anything he wants changed, and he can return it later,

or he can change the wheels out front of your place, before he takes off, *AFTER* the sale is done.
I do all my best work, at the last minute.
Cos, that's the only time I usually do anything.

Is the speedo issue actually a roadworthy item?

My old car was roady'd twice possibly a third time with 145/65's on the front...Never an issue.

thanks Jase
I stand corrected

anywho over this thread... as long as buyer and seller are happy
It's really none of my beez...

I only really started commenting due to concerns of dodgy practices and the consequences... and certainly don't think luft is the place to ask for a hand in such practices - no offence to anyone involved inc Rowan as I'm sure he and the buyer have there own deal going on - and hope whoever is doing the roadworthy is covered too...

peace out
