found this ad - no idea who the guy is or what the car is like...

For Sale:- 1957 Oval Ragtop Beetle. All original car which is 90% complete (no motor). Body is straight with all panels and doors lining up perfect. It has a W decklid and comes with a brand new complete body seal kit (still in box). Interior is original and complete. Car has some period accessories.
