I was thinking the same thing FONZ....eeeeeeyyyyy!!!. I got pics of that in Vegas when it was for sale in April. Perhaps he's got proof the work is pre '89, else the ride height and steelies were enough to get it in. It was USD$7500 in April - absolute bargain!
Thanks guys. Actually I bought the car a bit after April for less than the asking price
The crap thing about waiting for the price to drop was when I lodged my import approval it was at the time the laws just changed and they were rejecting and approving cars based purely on photos . After eight weeks of being certain my car was going to get rejected I got the approval and with a sigh of relief everything else went as planned (minus the shithead dockhands f#*king my rockers somehow), only arrived at my doorstep last Thursday.
No destitute here, I'm still lurking on the site and still working on VWs, final year in uni and having three jobs does put a lot of things onto the back burner
awesome weekend the best car show i have attended period .Good times great mates zero bitching great music .Good to see some VW crew there who have other automotive intrests too.Gee if we ran a vw show like this i guess we would have to dress up in lederhosen and listen to ompa bands at least the beer would be good
I also had a great weekend. Looking forward to next year. The rules didn't really apply this year, the camping and carpark area was so big it was hard to tell where the show entrants started.
