Jase I don't do fat chicks, its for a friend whos got a 68 which has 4.5's hes after a set of 5's for better traction. He wants to join and have a look at the forum ( Mark did you get the pm mate) He wants to powdercoat them schwarz as his bug is a custom blau metalic.

I've surgested keeping the fours up front and putting 5's or 5.5's on just the rear. Hes not been to any shows hes not a die hard volksie dude just likes havin fun with what hes got.

Ben I'll put forward your wheels it sounds fair enough if all the tyres are good. but he knows how much alloys are and he really doen't want to spend too much hence the schwarz standard rim idea

Rick how much are you after for them

Cheers Nickj

Hi, I am the 'friend' Nick talks of. Thanks for the post mate. I currently have aftermarket wheels 6 inch wide with 185 up front and 215 out back. It handles nice but time for a change.

I have the original set of rims also with 165 tyres. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think they're 4 inch wide on a 68 model ? I was thinking someone might be interested in a swap for some wider rims. I'm a little sceptical about the cornering and braking on 145s up front for a daily driver otherwise I like the look.
