Sunday April 3rd
Pie In The Sky. 1296 Old Pacific Highway, Cowan NSW 2081
Early!. Get there no later than 9.30/10.00 - it's only an hour or so from Sydney on a Sunday. Then a cruise up the ol' rd to Brooklynish or were ever destination...
Hopefully the central coast crew will come down as there now seems to be a few bugs up that way - LJ, J Bomb, Lewis, LOW.O5T ?
Coffee and chat and all over by midday and cruise home.
Also Remember the Berry Blast is coming up so get prepared for that one too.

Sweet. Inner West cruise up?
Meet Shell servo cnr Johnston and Booth Streets Annandale @ 8.00.
Depart 8.30 and head over Anzac and Hbr bridges to M2/Pennant Hills Rd and hook with the other squadrons coming from sud and West before running the Pacific Hwy.
Be good to see some of the blow hards that always squark for a meet and then never show.

That would be cool, I had thought of that but it is a typical early start, I leave hills@ around 4-4:30 to get down there for the best pickings for open at 6:30.....So you'd have to be committed. Would be a great (Full day) out though.fish wrote:I got an idea, "Let's cruize to Goulburn for the swap meet"!
Goulburn is usually one of the biggest in NSW, with plenty of rack fodder and a diverse range of vintage parts/wares if its a good year. I always find some sort of cool shit

Sorry, not trying to hijack anything here

Say meet on the M7 somewhere depending on who is coming from what direction?
Or stay the night before and rock in early?
What are thoughts?

Well....
Goulburn....
Maybe I didnt get there early enough, but all I saw was bogans, f*rd and h*lden bits, few bike bits, blah, blah, blah.
Nice weather though and the paragon cafe does a good burger.
I saw an early sxties decklid, bumper, roof racks and some rusty visors, but all I came home with was a pumpkin.
Nice drive all the same.
I like these solo fruitless missions......

Sorry mate I didn't think anyone else was going down, or I would have sung out. I wasn't going to but last minute descision and I needed to get out and clear my head.
Loaded some shit onto the ute @10pm night before and ran down on 2hrs sleep. Sold 3 of the 5 racks and some tool stuff, tool cabinet, old scooters, rims etc.
And the deck lid was '58 actually

But it was definitely down on last year, the antique dealers are certainly increasing in number, and the actual shed clear outs and genuine swap stalls etc fewer unfortunately. and bugger all dub stuff.
But I had a good day and weather was tops!
