WTB - Stock type 3 rims (4 lug)

Post by jonnyb »

Looking for stock rims for a '71 Fastie.
With or without rubber attached.

Looking for local sellers (melburg) perferrably. :D :D

What sort of condition are you after? I have a set but they aren't exactly pristine.

Condition? I like round ones....
Preferably rims should be intact, in running condition and without major deformation. Scratches and surface rust I can deal with. It's all a matter of price really....

funny you say that - I've been speaking to Ben already - think he's gonna be able to hook me up with what I need.... Thanks guys!!!

next on the list is an upgrade of the suspension prior to lowering - anyone know a good mob to take care of that for me?? Will most likely swap out shocks, tie rods and bump stops and put in adjustable IRS plates in back as well. - in saying that, I'm not sure what else is involved or what the costs might be.....

The set I have are not that round. I think the previous owner didn't know the meaning of 'gently touch the curb' when doing three point turns. If you can't get a hold of any others then I'll gladly give them away if they will be used.
