WTB - Notched spring plates

Post by Pollywaffle »

I'm looking for a set of two notched spring plates for my '64 type 1. PM me if you have a set lying around. I know I can notch my current ones but I'd like to keep the current set as a spare.

Cheers!

I have a spare set properly notched with no sharp edges, you can have for $50. Not sure how much postage would be to sydney though?

Why not buy some adjustable ones and notch them?

I don't have the tools to notch them :? I originally wanted adjustable plates but I did some research and read through a fair few threads where people were having lots of problems with them. I figured I'd just stick to the normal spring plates like everyone else.

Ask one of the Sydney blokes if you can borrow their grinder?
Or buy one, they are pretty cheap. And follow the thread on here on how to notch them and you'll be sweet. I've never done it before ad I just decided to have a go. Just measure twice and cut once
