WTB: Oval front clip

Post by Volumex »

Has anyone got an oval front clip they could part with? or know of a decent place to get one.
Need the spare wheel well metal to be reasonable. The Emerald thread shows why it's needed
Thanks, Simon

Hey Simon,

Is it 'just' the wheel well you are after? Mine was pretty hammered, so I bought this one:

Fantastic reproduction made out of quality metal and the guy was great to deal with. I searched high and low but only came up with either rusted clips or badly damaged/repaired clips.
We've tacked this on to my oval and it fits perfectly.
Food for thought :)

I need the side panels too - there is some dodgy welding on there at the moment.

Thanks for the mod who moved this

Gotcha.

I'll keep an eye on my '54 travels. I searched long and hard for my clip and had to make do with the rusty one that Rick had.
Unfortunately on that one the wheel well isn't great and i've had to remove the drivers side inner guard also.

Ben, thanks for looking.
I need the side panels as well as the wheel well.
It's hard to see, but there is dodgy welding on this panel.

I want to keep the front part, as replacing it with new is going to look rather odd.
