I'd go adapters on the back mate If your running short axles otherwise you'll want some 20 mm spacers made up or maybe long axles .nectar_f wrote:also aftervrear drums in 130x5 porsche pattern, but not redrills, cant get an answer out of classic vee dub forbthe blanks to get them drilled.
or even blank drums...
thanks,
The chunky cast wide 5 to 5 x130 gain you about that ......then again you running a 4.5" on the rear you might be ok
Don't call this a comeback .
with my old 67, i just put on late model drums, with the snout trimmed, and had nomrubbing, with 5.5 s with 165 s....captainvw wrote:I'd go adapters on the back mate If your running short axles otherwise you'll want some 20 mm spacers made up or maybe long axles .nectar_f wrote:also aftervrear drums in 130x5 porsche pattern, but not redrills, cant get an answer out of classic vee dub forbthe blanks to get them drilled.

I am using those on the '58 and i needed the spacers with the 195snectar_f wrote:with my old 67, i just put on late model drums, with the snout trimmed, and had nomrubbing, with 5.5 s with 165 s....

I went short studs with bolt on 25mm 5x130 to 5x130 adapters. Better option than log studs.
But i am with LJ on his opinion as the blanks are still the same on the inside as the og 4 lugs i.e. internal webbing. The bolt on wide 5 adapters give you a stronger fitting with no modification also you can carry a standard spare.
but it dont pass rwc... im getting rwc with fuchs on, and as they now take pics of all components, want it to look factory.undercircuit wrote:I am using those on the '58 and i needed the spacers with the 195snectar_f wrote:with my old 67, i just put on late model drums, with the snout trimmed, and had nomrubbing, with 5.5 s with 165 s....
