Wanted.... Ghia U.S. bumpers

Post by Tonz Magonz »

Does anyone know of any US spec 60's Ghia bumpers available second hand in Oz..?

Looking at making some changes...

I don't, but just so you know, not all '60s bumpers were created equal.

Pre '67 rears are about an inch longer than '67-'71, because of the different wheel arches.

Should have also pointed out, both will actually fit if you're not too bothered about the look.

Thanks..
I was wondering if the difference had anything to do with the change to bigger taillights on the '70 onwards cars, which may have added some length to the panel behind the wheel arch..

Have a sniff of some early bars as we speak, so see how we go..

Cheers
