Hey Dib,
Is the overall width of the adjuster component ,less than the cast section that the torsion tubes are originally welded too..

Im thinking of shortening tubes from the centre, so will need one of these adjusters before I get serious with the grinder..

Basically, the splined section the inner ends of the torsion bars are located in, is allowed to rotate by screwing in or out, the threaded bolt you see in the pic..

I looked and enjoyed the read but couldnt tell how much narrower the adjuster is than the factory cast section..
Any idea.?
