I know it's a long shot and I shouldn't be a lazy f@#ker and order some from over seas but I thought I would just see if anyone has any bay drop spindles to suit a Bj bay beam that they would like to part with?
I had some clearance problems with the brake disc rubbing on the lower balljoint and not nearly enough adjustment in the camber nut to fix it.
They'll often drop the kombi more than 3.5in as well, which is not necessarily a problem, all depends how much spring is in your leaves so they really need to be used with adjusters.
They do give a good ride though.
I wouldn't buy from him ever again, I'll leave it at that.
Yeah ok I have CE rear spring plates and will be getting skinned knuckles to build me a narrowed beam. Maybe you should just sell me your TransporterHaus spindle and get some other ones
Ok so I have received quite a lot of feedback from other people about the shenanigans going on with transportorhaus at the moment and thinking that I'm not buying spindles from them now. So what are the bay guys running and would recommend?
^^ Geoff makes some of the best drop gear in the country^^ Impeccable quality and he is an engineer from memory.
Mozzie 2" spindles, adjusters and 145 tires will get your ball joint beam close enough to the deck to make it a pain in the arse hitting on everything all the time....
Cheers Tonz yeah my bus won't be going low mate compared to what some people do Im just going to run the creative rear adjustable spring plates and just set it to a nice ride height.
