Jase that striker is the same as the rear hatch striker on my 69 bus, the catch mech looks very similar also, it mounts differently, but looks to work the same. The outside handle looks almost the same as the pic of yours.

Yeh engine lid/hatch is like fatty, but the big door/ hatch with the window is just like your treasure chest door.

True. Catch is the same but lock is different. You may be able to modify but it would be easier to service your lock and insert a new lock barrel. Treasure chest lock will open up.
