Hey guys,
Awesome forum with some seriously sweet rides.
Cheers for including us nord siders, was wondering
if any fellow dubbers out there lived around
Engadine 2233?? Give the occasional VW wave or
head tilt but don't tend to see too many about my
way in my lil daily driver, so give us a yell and let
me know I'm not alone.
Anyone around 2233??

Hi Mike,
Not sure if you saw my post about getting your blau slip
in the sutho shire.
Greg at Autosport Engineering at Kirrawee ph: 95211388 is
a mechanical engineer and is pretty lenient when it comes
to bugs 'cause he loves old rides.
Good to see another shire bug, or Syd one in general.
Maybe we can catch up sometime for some group bug catch up.
Would be great to meet a bunch of people with a similiar interest.
Cheers for the reply,
Pete.

Yeah, I know the headlights aren't in the right spot and it doesn't have running boards, but it was the best god damn b'day cake I ever had!!

Hey Mitch,
Left a post on your other thread. Can't say
it enough, I love your ride!! Fuch'en awesome!!
Can't see it in the pic, but the whitewall is painted
with teflon paint bought off e-bay didn't come up too bad,
but just bought a set of 3 inch flappers at the Clarendon
swap meet on the weekend and they should look a bit better.
A lot of my cash when I bought her was put
into the mechanicals, reco gearbox, brakes and
the like so I was a bit short of cash/time until now.
Been getting some great info off the guys
on the forum about dropping her, 4" beam,
dropped spindles, not sure if a 1 or 2 click
drop at the rear, maybe 1 for driveability,
etc etc. Any advise on the job you have done
would be great, your rides stance is awesome!!
Would love to finish the interior, half way there.
Then drive the wheels off her (hopefully not
literally).
Would love to be involved in a monthly meet
with all us northerners in the alliance.
We need to organise a bbq at mine or
something to get it started me thinks.
Post up anyone who's interested.(live at
Engadine 2233).
She's my daily driver, so I hope to see you
around, will give you the VW head nod or wave

Once again sweet ride mate,
Pete.
