WTD Oval rear H valance

Post by Nick928 »

Hey all, i'm in need of a replacement rear H valance for a '56 oval, any pointers?
i have the technology to modify a new item with an old item, but i am lazy.

Am new to the VW scene here but was known to tinker with them in the UK for a bit .

Looking forward to meeting up with a few people (not that i know anyone here yet) at a few events etc .

Ah yes.... erm name time... Is it Mark ?

I still have remnants of it here, along with erm prolly another 20 or so 928's.

Actually the wheels from that old 928 of yours would look nice on an oval :D

Just had a look at your site Bugboy, NOICE !

If the part has to be cut from a body then could do with both rear hangers (bumper) and half the drivers side inner guard.

the car in question is the Oval Alan was selling from the middle of nowhere... he sold his rather nice (understatement) '67 split just the other week .

the oval would make for an iteresting paint job if left as is, but new panels would need lots of work to blend in.

Well i stole a few 928's out of the UK, if they count.... lol

My brother has a Trekker (sold his splitty a year or so ago)... He's already sending me a load of other repair panels over as its cheaper for me to get them inc shipping from the UK than it is to buy them here at what appears to be some quite over inflated prices from the advertisers in VW magazine. But then again i'm used to shopping for VW parts in the UK not here. :?
