THE GOLF
bought this off jase in may just as a stop gap, now I'm not so keen to move it on.
I had to raise it from the usual jase cats eyes ripping level so I could it out of Eltham ever day.
And the other day got some stock GTi steelies for it.
Its been fun and I have done a few K's since easter.
i have to get a new car for work soon so might put this one in the shed for sunny days......
as it was when I got it.

I used to have a 16v 2 dr in the UK and needed reving pretty hard into the 6's to get it going......not saying I do that w this one.....but it goes well.
I have new shocks and springs on there way thanks to NUG star.
and have hunted down some of the missing trim and radio face plate.
It didn't come with a lighter so located a used one and wired that today so iphone works now
having fun finding the bits for it......UK ebay is great and cheap.

"GerTIe" has a 2 Litre Audi conversion in her, and goes like a pocket Rocket. The 1.8 "Mark" that we just sold was gutless. Definitely could feel the difference between the two.
"GerTIe" also has Koni blau's and everything replaced underneath. She rides so tight, you can't unstick her (we've tried)
Should actually get some pics up of her too...
