WTB: Engine, something bigger than a 1600

Just putting an early feeler out there. Puma's engine is tired so I either reco it or go with something else. So seeing what's out there. If I am to buy one then I won't be going for a 1600, I might as well reco what I have. I would be looking for a 1776, 1916, etc
Long block is fine, I have cooling, elec fuel pump, twin carbies, etc
Let me know what have

With that logic in mind, you still may as well reco what you have. Only difference is machining for bigger barrels.

Or look at a 1680. No machining.

Thanks Mate, wasn't keen on the 1680 (or the 1835) because as far as I know (and I am no expert) they are thin walled barrels and they warp quicker

Not true. AA slip ins are thick wall. Only machined on the end where its inside the case anyway.
