For the last five years I've been attending the VW Classic and OCTO meets every June in sunny California, plus a few extra events here and there at different times of the year.
Last year I put on my group tour guide hat and escorted 12 other keen Aussie VW enthusiasts over to Los Angeles and Las Vegas for a 2 week trip. From all reports everyone had a blast with lots of memories and laughs along the way - an article in VWMA recently documented what we got up to but a full photo history of the trip can be found here:

Testament to that fact is most of the people who attended the trip in 2013 have pre-booked a spot for next year as a reunion tour
I'm doing the same this year, with 7 out of the 12 spots already filled. We have one place set aside for the winner of our DAS Resto Parts competition which will be drawn on March 3.
