Wanted - Melb - fuel tank for 62 beetle

Post by [ UNEASY ] »

Hey all
Discovered that the fuel tank for my bug weeps petrol out the bottom. Has a small amount rust inside, but must have a pin hole there somewhere... Has has some gooey shit put on the outside at some stage....

Anyway, looking for a replacement to buy or even borrow for day of so I can get mine fixed later... 1962 beetle with gauge.

Location melburg.

Ph 0448066000 or PM me

Cheers
Simon

None of them are any good 4pots. they were all manufactured with the fuel sender on the bottom of the tank, not the top :D

Thanks heaps for all the offers of help guys, I really appreciate it!!

Have managed to borrow a tank from a mate close to home, which was great... He even dropped it off for me!!

Thanks Josh for putting me in touch with Mick.. He was happy to lend me a tank which was great, but I got this other one instead.

Thanks Nate, for the tank out of the sux5... A bit of a ding won't worry the schmuck!! I'll grab it at the pre party if that's cool!!

Cheers guys
Simon.
