WTB - Vintage Tacho with mount

Post by boris »

Hey all,

Wondering if anyone has any cool old Tacho's lying around in their boxes of cool stuff.
Would like something 12v, suitable for a 6 cyl and with retro style script and mount....oh, and I would also like it to work too.

Willing to pay good $$ for the right one, something along these lines that I missed out on would be very cool.

Thanks so much.
Darren

Thanks for that Type3. Yeah I have a moon but not quite right in the Benz.
That VDO is pretty cool too, might see how that auction goes.
Loved the MrGasket one but alas, missed the end of the auction

Thanks again

I have a vintage Gossen tacho, made in der fatherland in the 60's, has a chrome ring and 7000 RPM, 6 cylinder, schwarz face, adjustible redline needle. These are much easier to wire up than VDO tachos as they dont need a wire to the coil. They are also 6 and 12 Volt compatible. Think I also have a spare dash pod mount for it, the 4 cyclinder versions fit in the Type 3 dash as they are 85mm diameter which is how I ended up with it. Here is a pic ( but this isn't mine):

Let me know if you're interested, Cheers, Pat
